Why hasn't anyone said it? The Democratic Party would close the books on the GOP if Senator Hillary Clinton or Senator Barack Obama (whoever wins the nomination) chooses the other for Vice President. Just imagine, Hillary - 1st Female President or Vice President of the United States, Bill - 1st male spouse of a President or Vice President, Barack - 1st African American President or Vice President of the United States. At this point in the race, neither camp would be willing to openly consider such a thing. But I would guess that Democratic voters would welcome, if not be overjoyed, by the combo. Barack’s ability to unite, Hillary’s tenacity, and Bill’s experience is a win-win any day of the week. So my suggestion to both campaigns is this, create a plan B even if plan A works. Then we could finally credit Bush for improving the country.
Girl you are crazy!!!!! I see what you are saying, but I think the obvious question I would ask would be that after all that mudslinging could they actually work cohesively together without any pimpslapping in the White House? It is a noble suggestion, but they obviously have different views on the situations at hand, and how to get America to where it should be. Sounds good on paper, but not realistic in my opinion.

While the concept looks good on paper (or blogged), let's just be for real. Hillary would not accept a Vice Presidential role under Obama nor will she put Obama on her ticket as a VP candidate. This race is evidence of the character of Clinton's in so many aspects. From their lack of character on playing the "first black president" garbage to the "experience or lack of" that one does have. The Clintons's, while luckily positioned with economic growth due to technology, did very little for social justice or deminishing corporate-governance strongholds (Bill's policies were as conservative as Reagan and Bush's).
The Presidential seat was at one time a position that every child in elementary education was encouraged to pursue. We were told general requirements including age and naturalized citizenship. It was never about experience, but passion for the nation. Now, we're being told by political spin doctors to be HR generalists. But, for those of us who work with or around politicians, we know that the reason they're in the profession isn't because of experience. Many aren't smart enough to lead their households, but we bless them with electorial powers qualifying them with god-like strength.
The truth is, whomever steps in that seat the next four years will be catching absolute hell. Republicans won't be gone from the Senate or Congress. Democrats have no backbone and will never be as cohesive as Republicans. We have a majority conservative Supreme Court. Lastly, whomever it is will be stepping knee deep into Bush and Cheney crap. Bringing troops home, universal health care, cheaper college education...ain't happening in the next four years. For those of interest, we just have to make sure we don't have a repeat of 1976 with the Carter administration.
